Knock Knock

Avery is on her way to becoming the next Shecky Greene.

Press play to hear her joke.

Wiggle Mania

Wiggle Mania is still at a fever pitch here.
Bonus points if you can find all four Wiggle dolls hidden in the room.

Meet & Greet

Kelsey had her pre-school Meet & Greet on Friday. One of the parents threw a pizza party at the park for all the kids and parents to meet. The teacher told Kelsey that she will be helping to take care of the class rabbit, Oreo. That sealed the deal for Kelsey -- she's ready for school now. Doesn't she look like a big girl?

Rapunzel, Rapunzel, Let Down Your Hair

Here's what all the almost-two-year-old kids in Columbus are wearing this fall.
Dora "over"-pants and wedge-heeled sandals.

Raspberry Picking

We went raspberry picking at a local farm on Friday. Since I don't really know how to save them, we've been eating a lot of raspberries this week.

Anyway, like I was sayin', raspberries are the fruit of the field. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, raspberry-kabobs, raspberry creole, raspberry gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple raspberry, lemon raspberry, coconut raspberry, pepper raspberry, raspberry soup, raspberry stew, raspberry salad, raspberry and potatoes, raspberry burger, raspberry sandwich. That- that's about it.

The Dancing Queens Strike Again

The girls are revving up for the 2007/2008 dance year, practicing their moves.

I think it's safe to say they will both be accepted at Juilliard.

The Wiggles!

The girls had the time of their lives at The Wiggles concert. They got up close and personal with Jeff Wiggle, Capt Feathersword, and two of the Wiggly Dancers. They are still glowing.

We're of to see the Wizard

Kelsey is into all thing Wizard of Oz these days. She even wants a Wizard of Oz birthday party. I think she might be the only almost-four-year-old who has seen the movie, but hey, we'll give it a try. And of course, anything Kelsey is into, Avery is into. She manages to take the costumes and make them her own, don't you think?

the dog days of summer

The girls have been beating the heat in their backyard oasis.

This is where I found Avery today

I hope she found just the book she was looking for....

Sweet Child O Mine

Book Club

I can't believe what Avery selected for this month's Book Club -- Wideacre by Philippa Gregory. Usually see sticks with Sandra Boynton or something from the Nick Jr book club.

Next month might be Tolstoy.

Party Girls

The girls had three parties in the last four days, including a few pool parties.
Look at them in their finery.
The Hilton Sisters have got nothing on these two!

Pick me up

You're never too young to learn the fine art of picking your hair. Look at that volume! Thanks Grandma Brown for teaching her this one.

It only took 245 tries!

We finally got Avery to eat pasta!

"Oh wait....something is not quite right here....

....ah yes...it needs more Parmesan cheese"

And Pokey goes in for the kill!
