a small victory!

Today we went to the gym (Weight Training class for me) and both girls stayed in the daycare without too many tears. According to Kels, she only cried for "one minute" (holding her thumb and finger together to represent a speck) and Avery didn't cry until the very end. Last time, they had to come get me mid-class because Avery was wigging out. I am very proud of them. If this continues, maybe my spare tire will actually start to deflate.

After class we took a swim in the rain and came home for a late lunch.

Library

This morning we hosted a dog safety event for MOMS Club. Nothing like starting off Monday morning with a house full of people. Then the girls and I hit the library. They love to play in the kids area reading room. How do you like the creepy mannequin serving plastic doughnuts?

Father's Day weekend

We had a nice mellow weekend. Kelsey had a birthday party during the day at an indoor swing set showroom. Very cool.

Marge came down for dinner. We did a combo Father's Day and her birthday, since she is traveling this week. Sunday I was actually pretty lazy and Dave let me take a nice long nap while he entertained the girls.
